I
have always had a workshop at home, from a very young age.....
When we moved to the UK I ended up 5 years without one. When the house was habitable I decide that the rest of the house work would be a lot easier if I had again a workshop. A mini digger was hired to do some industrial weeding further 3 tones of hardcore and one tone of sand disappeared in the back of the garden and then 4 cubic meters of concrete covered all our effort. a 3x7mtr pad had landed. on top of that a wooden structure with 100mm thick beams and OSB ply on the inside was build. the cavity was filled with insulation and the outside was covered with shiplap. Then double glazing was fitted and the walls painted , roof covered, electrics fitted, and workbench and shelving welded. finally I had a workshop to be proud of. I want to thank Harichandra, Robert, Paul for the concrete job and my wife for helping to build the workshop frame.....oh and the paint job I have to say whenever a working day end with the frustrating feeling of nothing achieved (human induced stress), I go home and do something useful in the workshop and come out smiling To date the workshop has the following machines:
